For today’s class, we will be breaking out our awesome Concept2 Rowing Machines for the first time! After giving you all a tutorial on the rowing machine itself, we will then discuss and practice proper technique by breaking a full rowing movement into four different subcomponents/drills. Once complete and once everybody has demonstrated proper technique, all athletes will have a chance to row their first time trial for a 250m distance. We will test this multiple times this semester to track our improvement in rowing and with our general fitness!
