CALIFORNIA PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT):
I. 1-MILE RUN*
*MINIMUM PASSING TIMES ARE NOT STANDARDIZED – THEY ARE DIFFERENT FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL BASED ON EACH ATHLETE’S HEIGHT/WEIGHT/AGE…THEREFORE, RUN YOUR BEST!
IIa. Flexibility Test: Shoulder Stretch

IIb. Flexibility Test: Back Saver Sit & Reach**
SIT & REACH: MALES (12/13/14): 8 in
SIT & REACH: FEMALES (12/13/14): 10 in
**Sit & Reach only necessary if athlete can NOT pass the ‘Shoulder Stretch’ test (being able to touch fingertips together, behind the back, from each side).
III. TRUNK EXTENSOR STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY TEST:
MALES & FEMAILES (12/13/14): 9-12 inches
