Last class we used our new plyo-boxes as platforms to learn the jumping pull-up…today we’ll be using them for box jumps. While these boxes are safer and nicer than the aerobic steps they replaced, we will have to spend a minute to go over what the different measurements are depending on which box/what side you use (16″, 18″, 20″, 24″, & 30″) and also some additional safety considerations (think scraped shins). We’ll also quickly review proper box jump technique and efficiency tips learned from our 13SEPT class.
